Women in International Security Netherlands (WIIS NL) is the official Netherlands affiliate of WIIS Global. WIIS NL is focused on raising awareness of the nexus between gender and security, specifically: the women peace and security agenda (WPS Agenda); and gendered insecurities within the Netherlands and Europe.
The WIIS network is active in advancement of women's leadership in international security. WIIS-NL encourages professionals, policy-makers, security practitioners, NGOs, embassy staff, politicians, academics, students, and interested members of the general public to sign up and join the network.
WIIS-NL holds events throughout the academic year, presenting fascinating insights from both academics and practitioners in the field of gender and security. Check out our upcoming Speakers series for 2025.

This networking evening over drinks is an opportunity to connect with fellow members, exchange ideas, and strengthen our professional community in an informal setting.
